March 6, Joint Happy Hour Event: NCAC will be co-hosting with WCEE, the Women's Council on Energy the Environment. The mission of WCEE is to provide neutral forums for discussions on energy and the environment, and to foster the professional development of its members.
When/Where: Wednesday, March 6 at Mission, 1606 20th St., NW (near Dupont Circle Metro).
Cost: There is no registration fee for this event. Appetizers will be served and there will be a cash bar.
Speaker: Jane Nakano, senior fellow in the Energy and National Security Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Her areas of expertise include U.S. energy policy, global market and policy developments concerning natural gas, nuclear energy and coal, and energy security issues in the Asia-Pacific region.
